Theory + Practice
Kyle currently has over a decade of experience in public policy roles — as an advocate, a lobbyist, a staffer, and an advisor. As a Professor of Practice at the UNLV School of Public Policy and Leadership's Master of Public Administration, and Doctor of Public Policy graduate programs, he now teaches the lessons learned from those experiences to future policy makers and shapers.
Sophisticated operators understand that effecting change requires far more than lobbying Congress for new laws. Change can occur through federal, state, and local laws, through federal or state regulatory change, or even through litigation. A practitioner who solely relies upon one vehicle will fail to recognize or utilize countless other tools that may better serve their clients' needs.
Few practitioners successfully bridge theory and practice. Those who can, provide unparalleled insights to their clients, and deliver actual results. This is why experience matters.
